Chelsea Cook, PH.D.

Primary Investigator

I am driven by understanding how animals use social and ecological information to behave collectively. I think a great way to do this is by taking a holistic approach - studying genes, brains, individuals, and groups. Equally important is ensuring that science is equitable - both in the lab and how we teach and communicate the science we do. I also have a startup company - HiveTech Solutions - that is exploring the use of indoor overwintering to improve colony health in honeybees.

Hobbies

Cooking, yoga, reading, camping, hiking, drumming, seeing live music, discovering new music, gardening, doom scrolling Reddit.
