Dr. Cook co-organizes symposium International Congress of IUSSI, students participate
Dr. Chelsea Cook and PhD candidates Rachael Halby and Kerrigan Tobin traveled to Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany for the International Congress of the International Union for the Study of Social Insects on August 16-20.
Dr. Cook co-organized a fantastic symposium “From simple rules to collective resilience in a changing world” that generated meaningful connections and discussions for presenters and attendees.
Students Rachael Halby and Kerrigan Tobin each gave oral presentations and made the most of their time at IUSSI, networking and fangirling over so many experts all gathered in one place. IUSSI was such a unique and motivating experience and we hope to return for the next congress in four years’ time!
