Justine wins 1st place in student competition at Entomological Society of America annual meeting

Dr. Chelsea Cook and PhD students Justine, Rachael, Casey, and Kerrigan attended the annual Entomology meeting in Phoenix AZ November 10-13 to present their research.

Justine won first place in the Graduate SysEB: Phylogenetics and Behavior 10 minute student talk competition for her talk titled “Reduction in interaction efficiency disrupts collective thermoregulatory behavior in honeybees”.

Lab members Casey, Rachael, and Kerrigan also gave talks for the student competition and PI Chelsea presented a talk as well. Everyone had a great time discussing our research and networking. Casey, Rachael, and Kerrigan were first time attendees!
